Moseman Project - 2009

Complete Whole House Remodeling.

Log Cabin built approximately 40 years ago, requiring updating to meet clients needs.

This project ranks very high on my list of the most fantastic project of my career and one that will never be done again. The clients having the vision and want to keep the Cabin, whereas most people would have simply demolished the home and started over. A cold day in November 2008, a walk thru the property with the clients John and Susan reveled their love of the cabin and with good bones of the property, it was decided to keep the structure and remodel it.

The goal was to create a home to keep in the family for future generations, have room for 17 people to enjoy this lake home with family. We worked very hard to maintain this fantastic Michigan Log Home kit, and transform it's architecture from a log cabin to and Arts and Crafts style. My whole career I have never had my brain working overtime for so long as this great project. I knew as we went on with this project, I nor any of my devoted co-workers would we ever have another chance to reconstruct a gem like this one.
